1938 EG-Villiage of Gaurdai (Gar'day'ah) in the country of Meda, on the planet Valoux (Va'lox)

(This section was translated from Que’izos or the language of the forest, into New High Temple)

It was another day like any other me and my brothers had been training with our grandparents for over 5 years, training for what im not quite sure… why but for the purposes to serve as guardians.. now my ponder comes from a realization that guardians teach and train there own, so why I am training now escapes me.. my grandfather not truly a logical man nor my grandmother, both of them are actually retired generals from armies unknown to me… I doubt I could pronounce them.

From the lot of us we range from 11-13, me being the oldest at 13, not quite a big deal but aye everyone looks up there older brother right?

I discovered something quite amusing that both my parents did not serve in the guardians which really pissed off gramps, but instead turned a promise that there children will upheld there obligation.. not sure I understand why, the obligation of guardian is not one forced, it’s a privilege.

There is probably more to that then I will ever realize (there was.. later on I found out there was another obligation a secret my family has kept from all others the secret of the original guardians the secret of the true transformation, which they had hoped to train my father for, but he married my mother and decided to become a mage like mother, at the greatest disappointment to my grandparents there could ever be. I share some of that magus blood which leaves me a ½ swordsman blood and ½ mage blood, perhaps even a half breed they call this magi knight, and with the training I would receive I would be excellent at both, helps when you do not die of old age…)

We were being trained in the arts of Di’lex’ious consisting of several masteries not all which was to be mastered, they were split into 3 sword styles one being honor style (sun) another being bloody style (moon) and the last being 7 Sword Swordsman (7 sworded man).

The Honor style was represented by a sun symbol, it generally is very clean cuts and several physical magic techniques generally the victim dies painlessly or very quick.

(There were ways to tweak the physical magic of the Honor style in which to make it more painful or scary to observers but tweeking is considered non pure and has a reduced attack… or so a book I read a long time ago once said…)

The Bloody Style was represented by a moon symbol, it generally is very messy cuts, some even seeming to be bad form, but boy did they rip into things, its generally not used on human beings, for the amount of pain and suffering it could inflict, best used on monsters or at least best advised, usually it maimed a object and allowed it to slowly die, it contained no physical magic moves.

The 7 Sword style was represented by a man holding 2 swords with 5 other swords not drawn, it contained physical magic moves such as infinity blade which is labeled to have 2 arcs of itself… I hope I can master that technique one day.

(I never did quite master it, one of my 8ths brother finally did master it, I fear me being a magi knight put me out of being able to accomplish this move, it requires a full blood swordsman, I think though that mine is actually more powerful due to my magic reinforcing that move so it’s a trade off, the 2nd arc is one that can fully hit multiple people I seem to only be able to do this while in the form of a true legendary hero…

Further more the 1st arc mastery is very impressive with several thousand stroke extension to it, I fear my hands would burn off before I could get near that, during this move the blades are severely heated from the quick movements, that are all blue shadow movements.)

The 7 Sword style burrowed from the Honor and Bloody combining the best of each, but it was found to have a need to be good at both before trying 7 sword style. It contained its own set of moves postures and technique that had to be learned aside from your skills in Honor and Bloody.

(If only it was that simple, it really takes a lot of rethinking on how you do everything, it must be treated like its own style moving swiftly with 7 blades exchange them out, pulling out the needed blade position(s) and memorizing all that, its possibly the hardest style to learn that ive ever seen but if its worth it I dunno it does require a lot of training to pull off, on speed and strength, almost requiring now what is considered forbidden training to pull off in a life time… so it will be, so it shall, so it is…)

There was a set of magic styles, physic (mind), healing (cross), summoning (knight), and elemental (fire+water+wind+earth+lightning+darkness+light)

Physic style was represented by mind symbol, it generally did lots of things, it included the ability to control living and non living things, further iterated to control of mechanical objects, and high technology with your mind, further going even to being able to watch the timeline, it also allowed you to throw your will directly at the elements and do something called elemental domination, that lets you fully control the elements, there is probably other techniques but…

(physiological blows are actually really up there, I did not know it at the time but that actually is pretty cool stuff and of course there are three domination spells which have really helped me along quite a ways.

One I call dance puppet dance which controls only the body of a person and does a scripted task such as dance, the person will dance but they will realize that they cannot control there own body, it also means that, in no way are you controlling there mind directly or indirectly simply taking over control of the body like a puppet pulling its strings.

One I call mind control where you place tasks into the persons mind and they do the tasks but they do it in almost a zombie state and can be easily knocked out of it if someone hits them in the head or a disturbing image hits them.

The last one is called mental domination, its where you place a idea or a major task but not the instructions to complete the task, the subject will complete the task with full mental awareness thus they will complete the task as if they believed they should do that task, the good thing here is they are not a zombies when they do it, so they will defend themselves and go to farther leaps to accomplish the task and they will use there own wits and means to accomplish the task, such as there friends, allies, and heck even there own magical powers should they have them.)

(I noticed I also did not recognize that illusion spells are in this style as well and they include illusions delusions and anything else you can think of that go with illusions, it’s a form of trickery of the mind if that makes any sense)

(There are a lot of skills in the physic style and ill include those in a later part)

The healing style was represented by a cross symbol, it generally contained defense and healing spells, and the ability to enact magical force fields, even magical force walls, similar to a shield but its actually a wall, dunno why that would be useful how would you fight with one of those?

(Looking back that was a very dumb statement, first some of it was ideologically lacking, at that time I had not received any magical training so I was lacking the fundamentals making my basic observations at the time pretty useless…

A force field does not actually have to sit still unless its indirectly placed meaning it had no special object set as a target, from here on I shall note those as unfocused magic, with a target in place the force field will move with the object keeping a specific range from the target, unlike armor it does not bend or get displaced, thus blows against you are protected while you may attack freely.

Without a target this could allow archers to fire or any other ranged units to fire, since you can arrange to only keep things from entering instead of exiting, allowing them to fire unimposed.

Also you can plant a temporary forcefield in front of you like say a 10 second wall to prevent a attack then charge forward, I like to call these flash walls, they usually can be set up to either stay up for x seconds or x attacks, where x is where you set it up in the spell, then you can always assign it as a quick spell later on, but that is a story for later.)

The summoning style is represented by a knight symbol, it contains the ability to summon creatures and personalities of ancient beings, please be aware it does not let you summon the person but the personality of the person, not sure exactly what that means, how can you summon a personality…

(Another dumb statement, the concept of summoning the personality is on the concept that you can not summon up a dead hero, but you can summon the personality of the dead hero, while the hero is not really there, its just a recreation of that person, a empty shell that has the shared personality of that said person, so if you summon for say the knights of the orange cube well you will folks that look like the knights of the orange cube but with the same skills and personalities but without the ability to learn anything new they have only the memories and skills and are nothing more then a representation of those memories and skills. “please note to my knowledge there is not a order of the orange cube I just made that up as a example, if there is I apologize and will amend it with some other ridiculous order name.”)

The elemental style is represented by well, a lot of symbols the ones I figured out so far are fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, darkness, light, and a clock… the clock im not sure what it represents…

It concludes with what guilds believe are the spheres of magic… or so I heard but my grandparents discouraged too much reading up on these… hmm

(Since I am unable to go back and look at the symbols I have to assume that my above statement is correct, later I figured that the clock represented time, some mage guilds also include physic and illusion magic as other spheres of magic, while others do not, apparently the local mage guilds did not consider them part of the original sphere of magic… for reasons I will never know.

Of course there are multiple evolutions of magic that prove other wise, and, books of eras before EG furthermore state pysicic and illusion as spheres of magic… but that would be much later in my life when I discover those book of old, made by the elders of magic…

Most guilds today laugh at those and consider them fairy tales… of course they seem to be repeating the same mistakes yet again both with magic and magico.. but that as well is a story for another time…)

While we are training under the Di’lex’ious (Die'lex'sus) arts of sun and moon at this time and so have done in the last 5 years there are other parts of our training which is actually called Mat’anaba which translates to forbidden training in temple.

It’s a sort of training set up to enhance the strength and speed of a person, im not actually sure but it leaves you with the strength to explode a bolder without the bulk of muscles which I still cannot understand, perhaps one day…

(Im still not sure how that works, I just accept it as it is, the reason it was called the forbidden training is simply that there is a death toll usually involved in its training, I do not recall anyone dieing but I admit we started with more then the 7 of us, the others vanished, I remember my brother who calls himself “major” left on his own accord and later joined the military of another country which lead to the discovery of some massive space station called the First Station of Power that is now held by the Viper’s Cross.)

(Euno or the youngest was actually not partake in the training since he was too young I believe he may have been a babe with this all took place, but im not sure of his actual birthday, he is as I refer to the 8th brothers, alongside major since neither are members of the seven, and not for any reason of worth or value but under there own choosing.

I would grant Euno a chance, im not sure what I would do with major for he forsakened his claim to the family, since while he left on his own acclaim who told no one and actually worked his way off the planet, so in essence he ran away, his head was always in space anyway, the time between his leaving us to his finding of the first station of power are a complete mystery to me and I doubt he wants me to know so I shall allow it remain a puzzlement, but by leaving or running away however you wish to see it, he became marked as a traitor to the family thus forsaking the last name hero, dunno how that works…

Later when I ran into major again instead of killing him such as stated in some honor code of family tradition, I instead gave him a hug.. to his very great surprise… I am me and I am not stuck in the past of some tradition that no longer exists.. huging a brother represents acceptance and brotherhood in my culture, thus I accepted that his blood is shared and the same thus allowing him to again accept the last name of hero.

I could not find any reason to hate him for what he did, he seeked his heart and found something that he wanted to be and he did it, and he didn’t give a damn what anyone else thought about it.

My other brothers accepted my conclusions as well they did not exactly care too much for major but that was just simple sibling rivalry and nothing personal.

Later in my life I trained Euno under a less stressful version of Mat’anaba but when he was older, his purer swordsman / knight blood made him a much better swordsman later in his life, eventually I granted him the title of Master Swordsman, in Di’lex’ious master refers to best, thus giving him the title as best swordsman or greatest swordsman based on whatever your grammer calls out for.)

Make no mistake Mat’anaba was extremely tedious and well really hard, you found self seeking any moment of sleep you could, for a lot of it would take what you had left and keep asking for more, where a danger lied of you messing up and then well im very sure a very painful experience..

Through a lot of the training there were some really weird parts to it including a sorta puzzles with boulders and patterns with a lovely time limit, some it you were given a sorta parchment with how it should look and a field of boulders to move and adjust to that picture within a specific time limit that felt impossible at first, many times I admit you would fail that being unable to meet the guidelines of the puzzle specifically the time limit involved.

Some of the other training exercises including standing / balancing on a log floating on a river with a water fall behind you holding a stick.. Where the trainer would throw boulders at you and you had to break them, and you would use your legs to keep yourself far enough not to fall off the water fall, but there was a minimum distance you could be from the waterfall that changed each day it would seem..

Breaking boulders is tuff by the way, later the exercise forces you to stay at the tip of the waterfall without a stick forcing you to break them with your fists dang grandpa is strong…

(Yes he was.. but im not sure if he was as strong as I am now…)

Book of Heros: Prolouge

Prologue

Hello my name is Christopher Hero, and I am one of the seven true legendary heros, which is a group of brothers of the bloodline of the Hero family, each rediscovering the ancient power of true form of the truers.

I am the eldest brother, and probably the strongest of the bunch, we may not always see eye to eye but we are who we are and all have sworn a oath to protect humanity from itself, from those that are alien to that humanity, from fellow humanities, and from any crazy nut job in the universe, from oblivion, extinction or what ever word you may have created for this.

I hope this book to serve as a history, not only of our family and what happened but also to explain things that happened so long ago where many histories of those events do not exist, and for there to be something other then myths, a dedicated truth to what happened seen through my eyes and my thoughts.

I also hope to accomplish a understanding on why I did the things that I did and to ensure that the forgotten heros of history are remembered, also to serve as a history to many cultures, I will include language guides to help in translation efforts in the future.

P.S. EG refers to the Era of the Guardins, which may be a odd term for others since we now live in the AG which actually refers to After Guardians.. while there are Guardians today, this really refers to the fall of the Guardians of the Old Order, and in which was the height of the Guardians, the newer orders are in no way as powerful or influential nor do I think they ever will be.. perhaps not in my timeline.

Different sections may be in different dialects the original was translated out of Que’izos since few truers actually can read or write in it, it’s a simple talk and most who can speak Que’izos can actually also read temple or high temple or new high temple. As being born in a small village everyone spoke Que’izos thus my original journal accounts were in Que’izos…

I will not translate temple or high temple to new high temple, they can still be understood by everyone so there is little reason to risk loosing loss of the meaning behind the words.

High Temple was originally spoken by knights, nobles, etc etc and was similar to temple but had a lot of the derogatory words changed allowing said important people to insult lesser people without any lesser person knowing, even throwing insults with praise could be very well hidden.

New High Temple is a universal language sought by the Soledex Commission for provided a more unified universal language that could be easily spoken with laxed grammar rules to give everyone a break, you can say its spoken in slightly different accents by different races, but it all sounds the same and very easily understood.

New High Temple was founded in the mid AG (After Gaurdians) and was originally met with some controversy, today its accepted as a universal language taught right next to a persons natural language.

The newer orders that rose really did not mind since they require like in the old order that guardians keep many tongues (languages) and at least 5 or 10 dead tongues (languages) you take the tongues based on the region and district in which you are assigned..

Except me since the events of the War of the bloods left a lot of districts requiring care, I wish there had been a universal language back then, live lives on, just now im full of millions of dead languages that no one has ever heard of.

Sounds like something from a bad story…

Movie Reviews

Well folks saw Star Wars Clone Wars Saturday night, well im going to say I greatly disagree with what many mainstream reviewers reported.

In fact I will say im not sure if we watched the same movie.

Clone Wars is in full cgi, no live actors nor is it a cartoon, some characters feature exaggerated characteristics such as the Count Dooku's beard being a little wider and taller, and one of the bad guys snouts being exagerated, other then that everything is true in proportions.

I have to say this is a excellent chapter in the Star Wars Universe featuring huge ground battles, space battles, and some nice jedi duals.

The plot of the story is that Jaba's son has been kidnapped, the Republic wanting access to Jabbas space gates, allowing the republic access to the otter rim planets, the republic places this great task onto the jedis.

Of course yoda has a suprise for anakin, his very own spunky apprentice...

My score: 19/20
